Privacy notice

Meenal Jaiswal, an individual coaching practice based in Hyderabad, India, decides what personal data is collected here and why. Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 that makes me the data fiduciary. Questions, requests and complaints go to me by email and I answer them myself.

Browsing this site

Pages are served by Vercel, which records standard server logs including IP address, the page requested, the time and the browser's user agent. These are used to run and secure the site and are held on Vercel's ordinary log retention.

Visitor statistics use a cookieless analytics tool. It counts page views, referring sites, countries and broad device types in aggregate. It does not set cookies, does not fingerprint devices and does not create a profile of you or follow you to other sites. There is no advertising pixel here, so no consent banner is needed and none has been added.

Booking a conversation

Booking runs through Cal.com. When you book, Cal.com receives your name, your email address, the time zone your browser reports and anything you type into the booking note. Cal.com is a separate company acting as a processor for me, and it operates under its own privacy policy. That data is used to hold the appointment, send the calendar invitation and send reminders. Nothing else.

Emailing me

If you write to me, I hold the email and whatever you chose to put in it. Email is handled by an ordinary commercial mail provider.

Coaching itself

Session notes and anything you tell me in a session are covered by the confidentiality terms on working together and in the coaching agreement, which are stricter than this notice. Session content is never used for analytics, marketing or anything else.

Booking records are kept for twelve months after the appointment, then deleted. Emails are kept for as long as the correspondence is live and reviewed yearly. Records tied to a paid engagement, including invoices, are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires and no longer. Aggregate analytics carry no personal data and are kept indefinitely.

Your data is not sold, not rented and not shared with anyone for marketing. There is no mailing list on this site. Nobody is added to anything by booking a conversation.

You can ask for a copy of what I hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or completed, ask for it to be erased, and withdraw consent for anything you previously agreed to. You can also nominate someone to exercise these rights if you are unable to.

Write to me and I will act on it within thirty days. If you are not satisfied with how I have handled a request, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

The site is hosted on infrastructure outside India and Cal.com processes booking data outside India. Nothing sensitive travels through either. If you would rather not use the booking tool at all, email me instead and no third party is involved beyond ordinary mail delivery.

If this notice changes in a way that matters, the date at the top changes with it. There is no archive of old versions, so if you need one, ask and I will send it.
